Mechanical Design Engineer

Leading manufacturer and integrator of automated packaging systems has a critical-fill opening for  a mechanical design engineer. This thriving corporation is looking for an engineer with both design and project engineering capabilities.

Experience within the robotics and/or packaging equipment industry is preferred.

Candidate will design custom automation for packaging, palletizing and other material handling applications. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• 5-10 years' experience in a design-build manufacturing environment
• Ability to multi-task and work to aggressive project timelines
• Ability to serve as both a creative design resource and a customer liaison
• Experience integrating articulated robots into an overall automation system
• Experience with AutoCAD Inventor or similar 3-D package
• BS in Mechanical Engineering

$60K-$80K base salary; relocation assistance available.

Controls Design Leader/Electrical Engineering Manager

Leading manufacturer/integrator of automated packaging and material handling systems seeks a seasoned controls design engineering leader/manager.

A critical position for this thriving firm, the selected candidate will lead a team of controls engineers to ensure successful design and development of controls systems and subsystems for multiple simultaneous projects according to established design standards/practices.

Ideal candidate will possess:

• 5-7 years experience in the design-build manufacturing environment as a controls engineer
• Management responsibilities (project management experience desires)
• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Prior work experience within robotics, packaging machinery or capital equipment industries
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs
• Ability to thrive as both a leader and technical engineer
